VA Film Festival Hosting Christoph Waltz, MLK III, Others This Weekend
Christoph Waltz, Martin Luther King III, and others will be appearing in Charlottesville, VA as part of the Virginia Film Festival.
As part of the Virginia Film Festival, legendary actor Christoph Waltz will be taking part in a discussion at Charlottesville’s Paramount Theater. The event, which kicked off on Thursday, will continue through the weekend with Waltz appearing at 1:00 P.M ET on Saturday. Mark Johnson, the Advisory Board Chair of the festival, will moderate the event which is set to run until 2:45 P.M ET.
Waltz, known for his work with Quentin Tarantino, has won two Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor (Inglorious Bastards; Django Unchained).

Following Waltz at the Paramount Theater will be Martin Luther King III (MLK’s oldest son) as he will address the audience alongside a documentary about the 2017 tragedy in Charlottesville.
Additionally, director Allen Hughes, known for Menace II Society, will be taking part in a discussion on Saturday with Mitch Levine at the Alamo Drafthouse in Charlottesville. The discussion, set for 7:00 P.M ET, will be after a viewing of Hughes’ HBO docuseries The Defiant Ones. Tickets can be found here.

On Sunday, one of the highlights will be a showcase of The Front Runner (starring Vera Farmiga, Hugh Jackman, and J.K. Simmons) at the Paramount Theater at 7:30 P.M ET. The film is directed by Jason Reitman and tells the story of former U.S Senator Gary Hart and the scandal that derailed his political career. Tickets are $15 and can be found here.
According to Deadline, The Front Runner is set for a limited release on November 6th and a nationwide release later in the month.
